This section applies to our browser extensions, including Dedup Tabs and Markdown Renderer. The data practices described in Section 1 concern the Site only and do not apply to our extensions.
Dedup Tabs specifically: Dedup Tabs reads the URLs of your open tabs solely to compare them against one another and identify duplicates. Those URLs are held in memory only for the duration of a single click and are discarded as soon as the cleanup finishes. Before closing a duplicate tab, Dedup Tabs asks that page whether it would object to being closed, so that a tab holding unsaved work is left open; this check reads no page content and returns only a single yes/no answer.
Markdown Renderer specifically: Markdown Renderer runs only on pages whose address ends in .md or .markdown — never on ordinary web pages. On such a page it reads the Markdown text your browser already displays, converts it to formatted HTML on your device, and replaces the page with the result. The file's contents are used for nothing else, and are never copied, stored, or transmitted.
If you turn on Chrome's “Allow access to file URLs” setting for Markdown Renderer, it can also render Markdown files stored on your own computer. Those files are rendered in your browser and are read for no other purpose. This setting is off unless you turn it on yourself, and the extension renders web-hosted Markdown without it. Markdown Renderer's parser, sanitizer, and stylesheet are open-source components (marked, DOMPurify, and github-markdown-css) bundled inside the extension package rather than loaded from the network.

Our contact form transmits your submission to our team inbox at betteruseoftime@vibeshipgrow.com via Resend (resend.com), a third-party transactional email service. Your submission data passes through Resend servers solely for message delivery. Resend is bound by its own privacy policy and does not use your data for any other purpose.
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies. We do not store any data in your browser's local storage.
The Site may link to third-party websites. These sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain contact form submissions only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and for legitimate business record-keeping purposes, typically no longer than 12 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.
